‘BJP workers are communal’, alleged Robin audio surfaces; Ved Lakshmi shares clip, police complaint filed

KOCHI: Influencer Ved Lakshmi has levelled serious allegations against Bigg Boss star and BJP leader Robin Radhakrishnan. She alleged on social media that Robin joined the BJP with business interests in mind.

Ved Lakshmi also shared an audio clip on Instagram, allegedly featuring Robin saying that he does not know the BJP’s ideology and describing BJP workers as communal. However, Robin has claimed that the audio clip was generated using artificial intelligence (AI).

In the audio clip shared by Ved Lakshmi, the speaker allegedly says: “If you ask why BJP, I don’t know ABCD about the BJP or its ideology. But I like Modi ji. BJP workers are communal. To be honest, I often say things like that. Suppose I become a candidate. If someone talks to me about it, I will speak as a politician.”

Meanwhile, Robin Radhakrishnan has filed a complaint with the Palarivattom police against Ved Lakshmi, alleging that she defamed him through social media. Robin filed the complaint at around 11 am on Sunday. Following a preliminary inquiry, summonses have been issued to the parties concerned, directing them to appear before the police.
