Power restrictions in Kerala tonight; shortage hits national grid

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Partial power restrictions have been imposed across Kerala today between 7 pm and midnight following a 12,000 MW shortfall in power availability at the national level. Grid Controller of India Ltd officially informed the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) about the shortage in power availability. The Grid Controller has requested all states to impose power restrictions in view of the shortage.
