NEW DELHI: The price of domestic LPG cylinders has been increased again. The price of a cylinder has been hiked by Rs 29. The price of 14.2 kg cylinder in Kerala has crossed Rs 951. This is the second time in three months that cooking gas prices have been increased. As per the increased rate, 14.2 kg gas cylinder in Delhi has increased from Rs 913 to Rs 942. The price of cooking gas was increased by Rs 60 in March. Reports say the rate will come into effect from today.
The price hike is due to the energy crisis caused by the ongoing war in the Middle East. In June, the price of LPG for commercial purposes was increased by Rs 42.
