Rs 30 crore Thiruvonam bumper goes to Kannur; Ticket number TL 360615 hits jackpot

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The result of the highly anticipated Thiruvonam bumper lottery ticket is here. The first prize of Rs 30 crore went to ticket number TL 360615, reportedly sold from Kannur. The ticket was sold from Muthu Lottery agency in Kannur. The draw took place at Gorky Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram and was inaugurated by Minister K. Muraleedharan. The Minister also launched the Pooja Bumper lottery ticket.

A notable feature of this draw is that all 90 lakh printed tickets were sold out—a first in the history of the state lottery. This historic achievement marks the first sale of the Thiruvonam Bumper lottery since the prize money was raised to Rs 30 crore. Palakkad district recorded the highest sales (2,095,300 tickets), followed by Thrissur (1,062,000) in second place and Thiruvananthapuram (864,100) in third.

The second prize is Rs one crore each, while the third, fourth, and fifth prizes are Rs 25 lakh, Rs 5 lakh, and Rs 2 lakh, respectively. Additionally, prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 2,000, Rs 1,000, and Rs 500 are also offered.

For the Rs 30 crore winner, the most important step is to notify the Lottery Department as soon as possible. Once the necessary procedures are completed and the lottery ticket is submitted along with the required documents, the prize money will be credited to the bank account within approximately 15 to 20 days.
