Two dead as man collapses while helping another who fainted at home

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A neighbor who came to help take a man to the hospital after he collapsed at home, also collapsed and died. The incident happened near the Vandithadam Kurishadi in Kovalam Thursday night. Suresh (44) collapsed at his house on the side road near Vandithadam Kurishadi. His neighbor Aji (52) collapsed while Suresh was being shifted to the ambulance.

Suresh was working as a security guard in the bank. Suresh went to the restroom at his home in the evening. When he did not return for a long time, his wife went to check on him and found him lying on the floor. Since their house was located 150 meters away from the main road, neighbors rushed to help and carried him by hand to the ambulance which was waiting there. While carrying Suresh, Aji also collapsed right next to the vehicle. Both were immediately rushed to the medical college hospital, but unfortunately, both passed away before reaching there.
