E Santhosh Kumar bags Vayalar award for celebrated novel ‘Thapomayiyude Achan’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Writer E Santhosh Kumar won the 49th Vayalar Ramavarma Literary Award, a prestigious annual award for the best work of Malayalam literature. The award was announced by Trust President Perumbadavam Sreedharan at the Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram.

E Santhosh Kumar bagged the award for his popular 2024 novel ‘Thapomayiyude Achan’. The award consists of Rs one lakh and a sculpture designed by sculpting genius Kanayi Kunhiraman. The award will be presented on October 27, the death anniversary of Vayalar Ramavarma.

E Santhosh Kumar expressed happiness over his work getting the recognition.
