
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minutes after LDF released its manifesto, the UDF followed suit to release theirs, which comes with big promises. The manifesto was released by Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at a function held in Kochi at 10 am. The slogan of the UDF is 'Kerala will win, UDF will lead'. The main priority in the manifesto is the Indira Guarantee. UDF leaders also stated that a special empowering committee will be formed to check whether the promises in the manifesto are being implemented properly.
Promises made by UDF:
Free travel on KSRTC buses for women
Monthly financial assistance of Rs 1000 for college students
Welfare pensions to be increased to Rs 3000
Free Oommen Chandy health insurance up to Rs 25 lakh for all families
Interest-free loan of Rs 5 lakh for youth to start a business
Special department for the welfare of senior citizens
Mission Maritime, Aviation Development, MSME initiatives, Job Watch Tower, Wayanad Tribal University are dream projects
KR Narayanan Scholarship and Loan Scholarship for deserving children to study in India and abroad
Quarterly medical check-up for children in Anganwadi centres
Minimum daily wage of ASHA workers to be increased to Rs 700
Free dialysis for BPL patients
Follow-up treatment for dialysis patients at reduced rates
Will increase honorarium for LPG workers
Yuvashree, similar to Kudumbashree for youth
Community kitchen will be expanded
