THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kottayam SP's investigation report on the controversy related to the autobiography of former LDF convener and CPM central committee member EP Jayarajan has been released. According to the investigation report, there is no MoU between DC Books and EP to publish the autobiography. The report says that some parts of the book were leaked from DC Books in the name of autobiographical content. These parts were leaked from AV Sreekumar, DC's head of publications. Kottayam SP handed over the inquiry report in this regard to the DGP. The report also stated that the police cannot file a case directly in the incident.
EP had earlier submitted a complaint to the DGP seeking a probe into the conspiracy in the circulation of some parts of the autobiography on polling day. The DGP has assigned Kottayam SP to investigate the complaint. SP had submitted a report in the first phase also. However, the DGP sent back the report seeking more clarification. The second phase report submitted by Kottayam SP based on that instruction, has now been released.
Meanwhile, EP Jayarajan reiterated that the autobiography controversy is a political conspiracy. The truth has come out in the investigation. EP also said that it was clear to the investigators how parts of the autobiography were leaked.
