PATHANAMTHITTA: A student of class 9 was sent out of the class for not cutting his hair properly. The incident happened at Adoor Holy Angels School in Pathanamthitta. The student's parents have filed a complaint with the Human Rights Commission and the CWC.

'When I went to school, two teachers caught me. They asked y father's phone number. They said that if my father doesn't come, they won’t allow me to enter the class. I got my hair cut yesterday but they said it wasn't cut properly. They made me stand out for three hours,' the student said.

His father said that when the teachers told him that his son’s hair was not cut properly, I told him that I will make him cut properly in the evening. They asked me to come to school. They also told me that if I don’t come, they will make my son stand outside the whole day. I came and told them that what they have done is not right. The school authorities said that he has to come neatly in school,' his father said. Adoor circle inspector and others have reached the school.
