Two youths killed in accident on Palakkad-Pollachi Road

PALAKKAD: Two youths were killed after their bike and a goods lorry collided on the Pollachi road. The bike caught fire in the accident that happened late last night near Pettah Junction in Elapully.

The youths dead have been identified as Vishnu and Karthik. The two were intimate friends. The two were running a farm. The accident happened while they were returning after feeding the cattle. Although they were taken to the hospital, their lives could not be saved. The doctors said the head injuries they suffered led to their deaths.
