'Will not bow down to Sangh Parivar, till last breath we fight'; Mohamed Riyas responds to ED raid

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former minister and present Beypore MLA PA Mohamed Riyas responded to the ED raid at his residence through a terse Facebook post targeting Sangh Parivar.

“You can surround and beat us mercilessly. However, we are not going to grovel before Sangh Parivar’s pressure tactics. Till the last breath we fight,” wrote Riyas on Facebook.

ED raids are underway at the residences of former Chief Minister and Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan and his son-in-law, PA Mohamed Riyas, since this morning. The searches are being conducted at Pinarayi's house in Kannur and a rented house in Bakery Junction, Thiruvananthapuram. Riyas’ house in Kottooli is also being raided.

Inspections are underway at the CMRL office and the house of Managing Director Sasidharan Kartha. It is reported that inspections are being carried out at 12 places at a time. Pinarayi's daughter Veena, who is accused in the CMRL-Exalogic monthly payment case, is now at home in Thiruvananthapuram.
