THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Karnataka Police conducted a raid at the Karakonam Medical College. The police came in search of the college director Bennett Abraham. He had accepted Rs 7.5 crore from Karnataka natives after promising them MBBS seats. The Karnataka Police came to Kerala in connection with this.

The Karnataka Malleswaram Police had registered a case against Bennett in the incident. He later went absconding.
