Relief for expatriates: Saudi Arabia approves four more vaccines, including Covaxin

RIYADH: In a relief for expatriates, Saudi Arabia has approved four Covid vaccines, including India-made Covaxin. Apart from Covaxin, Russia's Sputnik, China's Sinopharm and Sinovac have been granted approval by Saudi Arabia. Those who have received two doses of any of these vaccines will be allowed to enter the country.

With this, 8 vaccines have been approved in Saudi Arabia. Earlier, Saudi Arabia had approved Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.
