Denmark's Victoria Kjaer Theilvig wins Miss Universe 2024 title; India fails to make it to top 12

MEXICO CITY: Denmark's Victoria Kjaer Theilvig has won the 73rd Miss Universe competition. The finale of the match was held yesterday at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. With the victory of 21-year-old Victoria, Denmark has won its first Miss Universe title.

Victoria, a Native of Europe, is a lawyer, dancer, entrepreneur, and mental health expert. Victoria was crowned Miss Universe by beating 125 contestants. Maria Fernanda Beltran of Mexico was the first runner-up. Nigeria's Cnidimma Adetshina was the second runner-up. 21-year-old Rhea Singha, who represented India, failed to make it to the top 12. Rhea, who hails from Gujarat, had won the Miss Universe India 2024 title. Rhea is a graduate in performing arts.
