KOCHI: Kochi city police commissioner has revealed a bombshell regarding the burning drug exploitation news in Kerala. In a seminar organized by the Kerala police officers association in Angamali, commissioner K Sethuraman said even children of police officers are bad drug addicts which have almost tormented their whole family. He restrained from naming the officer but offered clue saying the person was an SP-ranked officer whose two sons are bootleggers and terrible drug addicts.

“Even families from our clique are getting destroyed. It was inside one police quarters that a girl student died, after having serious trouble coming out of drug usage. If not alert now, things can spiral to worse situations. Considering the overall status in India, Kerala fares better but in Punjab, almost 12 % of people are drug users. The numbers are alarming and it won't take that much for the trend to seep downwards to Kerala” K Sethuraman warned.
