TALLAHASSEE: A woman named Quantavia Miltonise Samuel, aged 33 was arrested by Florida authorities following an incident where her 12-year-old son was accidentally struck by a vehicle she was driving.
According to police reports, the incident unfolded when Miltonise received a distressing call from her son, who claimed he was being attacked by fellow students, one of whom allegedly had a firearm. In a bid to intervene and protect her child, Miltonise hurriedly drove her SUV to the school.
Regrettably, while attempting to stop the altercation involving her son and the other children, Miltonise's vehicle inadvertently collided with her own child. Fortunately, the 12-year-old sustained minor injuries.
After the incident, instead of immediately seeking medical attention for her son, Miltonise purportedly pursued the children involved in the altercation. She later notified the police after parking the car in front of a residence, but law enforcement was unable to locate any weapon.
Subsequently, the injured 12-year-old was eventually taken to the hospital, where he complained of leg and foot pain. Miltonise Samuel was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon due to her involvement in the incident.
