KOZHIKODE: Manaf, one of the owners of Arjun’s lorry, said that he did not do anything expecting gratitude. Manaf added that he has no hostility towards anyone even if insulted. He said this while delivering a speech at the reception organized at Mukkam School in Kozhikode. The family of Arjun had yesterday raised serious allegations against Manaf.

‘On the allegation of Arjun's family, I will respond more after holding talks with his family. Someone has misled Arjun's family. There was no send off. Just bought food for the people who were there for so many days and sent them. That was misinterpreted as send-off. Apologize for the misunderstanding. No one should haunt Arjun’s family in the name of it. Don’t talk bad on social media,’ said Manaf.

In the press meet convened yesterday, Arjun's family alleged that Manaf is trying to leverage the emotional connect Malayalees have with him. They also said that Manaf is working as a PR Agency. Arjun’s brother-in-law Jithin and brother Abhijith alleged that Manaf is circulating lies about the family and collecting funds in his name. However, Manaf responded that no funds were received and if the crime is proved, he is ready to face any action.
