CCTV footage captures actor Baiju's car ramming into bike

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CCTV footage of actor Baiju’s car losing control and hitting a bike is out. The car after hitting the bike crashed into a post nearby in the wee hours of Sunday night in Vellayambalam, Thiruvananthapuram. It is suspected that the actor was in an inebriated state during the accident.

Despite being taken for medical examination, Baiju heavily opposed the doctors collecting his blood samples. At 11.45 pm, Baiju was heading towards his residence in Vellayambalam near the police headquarters. The speeding car lost control while trying to deviate from the barricade fixed on the road, as part of renovation works. In an attempt to not hit the barricade, Baiju swirled his car resulting in the vehicle hitting a bike coming from the Kowdiar region.

After the accident, the police came from the control room and admitted the injured youth to the general hospital. Baiju who caused the accident was brought to the museum police station. A war of words took place between Baiju and onlookers while some also claimed the actor to be in a drunken state.
