15 including 12 Malayali nurses test positive for virus in Mumbai

MUMBAI: Fifteen nurses of a hospital in Mumbai have been tested positive for COVID-19. Fifteen nurses including 12 nurses from Kerala are working in the Wockhardt Hospital where 50 Malayali nurses and a doctor contracted the disease earlier. Two Malayali nurses in Pune have been infected of the virus. Majority of them confirmed of the virus did not have any symptoms. The hospital is closed following the spread of the virus. 12 nurses under treatment have been cured of the disease.

Two Malayali nurses working in Ruby Hall Clinic in Pune tested positive of the virus. Four nurses had earlier contracted the disease. ICON Hospital in Dombivli was closed after nurses were infected. With this, almost 15 hospitals have been closed due to COVID-19.
