The footage of this cruel deed has gone viral on social media. The tragic incident took place this morning on the road near Chalakkal Medical College. Animal lovers and eyewitnesses have lodged complaints with the police and the Animal Welfare Board against the driver.

The dog suffered injuries as it was tied to the car and dragged in a tarred road. The video was shot by a young man who came on a scooter after the car.
