Tractor overturns in Ernakulam; two migrant workers killed

KOCHI: Two migrant workers were killed after a tractor overturned at Kothamangalam in Ernakulam district. The deceased have been identified as Pradeep and Sathya, both natives of Uttar Pradesh.

The accident occurred this evening on the Kothamangalam-Neriamangalam road. The tractor was carrying machinery used for rock blasting when the driver lost control of the vehicle. It then collided with a car coming from the opposite direction.

Following the impact, the tractor overturned onto the road. Both Pradeep and Sathya sustained serious injuries and died at the spot. Their bodies have been kept at the Kothamangalam Taluk Hospital.
