THRISSUR: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who arrived in Thrissur as part of his Kerala tour, said that the representatives of Jamaat-e-Islami were not invited for a meeting as they were not suitable for discussion. He was responding to the media in Thrissur.
When quizzed about the Prime Minister's intervention in the church row, the CM said that there is nothing wrong with the Prime Minister intervening in such a matter of law and order. He added that he doesn't think that there is politics in it. The National Highway Authority has said a tunnel in Kuthiran will be completed by January, the CM added. He further added that the health department is preparing to deal with the genetically modified covid virus.
