V T Balram MLA of Thrithala has come to the fore with a befitting reply to KPCC chief Mullappally Ramachandran. Mullappally had the other day criticised Balram for his post against noted writer K R Meera. He said criticising her was not right and political activities should not be conveyed in Facebook. Balram came forward with a reply to the chief via Facebook.
Balram wrote in the Facebook that his first priority is to do his responsibilities as a congress leader, a social activist and as a representative of the state. In between all these and at my convenient time I pen something of my own choice in the Facebook.
The post mentioned that till 9 am yesterday he met almost twenty people including those with memorandums and later spent some time at the MLA office in Thrithala.
Inaugurated the building constructed with an amount of Rs one crore allotted from the MLA fund at Aanakkara Govt Higher Secondary School.
Held discussions with water authority officials and representatives on comprehensive drinking water project at the Kappur panchayat office.
Visited the PWD road site constructed for an amount of Rs 4 crore at Paruthur. Held discussions with the engineers and contractors. In between all these, attended two marriage functions.
After having lunch, spent some time for reading, presently reading Shashi Tharoor’s ‘The Paradoxical Prime Minister’.
Inaugurated the road constructed from the MLA fund at Karimba. Visited some houses in the area and also visited two ailing patients.
At 5 pm attended the function of the youth congress carrying the ashes of Kripesh and Sharatlal at Koottanad.
Inaugurated the farewell meet at the Kumaranelloor Govt Higher Secondary School.
By 9 pm, reached home, had dinner and back to reading.
