Beauty parlour shooting case, Ravi Pujari in CB custody, will be brought to Kochi tonight

BENGALURU: Underworld criminal Ravi Pujari will be brought to Kochi tonight in the Kochi beauty parlour shooting case. The team with Ravi Pujari arrived at the airport from Parappana Agrahara Jail. The accused and the team led by investigating official will fly on an Air Asia flight at 7.45 pm to Kochi.

Ravi Pujari will then be produced in court and taken into custody. The arrest of Pujari, who is lodged in the Bengaluru Parappana Jail, was recorded in the jail last February. Some opened fire at actress Lena Maria Paul's beauty parlour in Kadavanthara on December 15, 2018 at noon. Ravi Pujari had claimed responsibility for the crime.

Earlier in March, the crime branch team had tried to bring Ravi Pujari to Kochi. But that did not happen as Mumbai police had earlier taken him into custody. The custody application was filed by the crime branch team after the Mumbai police brought Pujari back to Bengaluru in the last week of May.
