Six killed in separate accidents in state

THIRUVNANTHAPURAM: Six people have lost their lives in accidents that happened in three districts. The accidents occurred in Kottayam, Thrissur and Malappuram. Three lost their lives in Kottayam.

Sanaja, a cleaning worker of Thalayolaparambu Mers Hospital, died after the ambulance met with an accident in Vaikkom.

The accident happened at Vyppin Padi near Vaikom Valiyakavala. The accident happened while transporting staffs in the ambulance due to hartal. The ambulance which lost control hit an electric post and a wall. Three sustained injuries.

The second accident happened in front of Manimala BSNL office at Punalur Moovattupuzha. A car hit a tipper lorry halted on the road. Reshma and Sharone are the two who lost their lives.

Two died in an accident after bikes collided in Thrissur. They have been identified as Dileep and Ashkar. At Ponnani in Malappuram, a local channel employee identified as Vikramadithyan died after a car and a bike collided.
