Sabarimala: Ready to compromise on auction bids, says devaswom board president

SABARIMALA: Devaswom Board president K Anandagopan said they are ready to compromise on auction in Sabarimala. On the one hand there is the concern whether Ayyappa devotees will turn up. Taking advantage of this situation, they are demanding to reduce the auction amount. However, the president made it clear that it could not be permitted.

The president said they are willing to compromise on bids. However, taking advantage of the situations like floods and Covid, cannot be allowed. He added that if the auction price is reduced too low, it will not be possible to carry out the activities.
