Two held for hacking youth to death in Perumbavoor

KOCHI: A youth was called out of his house and hacked to death in Perumbavoor. The dead has been identified as Ansil (28), son of Saju of Vattaparambil. The incident happened last night at 10.30.

The police have taken two into custody in connection with the incident. Biju and Elwin of Perumbavoor are the two in custody. Police said the accused hacked him to death due to personal animosity. Ansil is doing real estate business.

Ansil received a call last night and came out of the house to talk on the phone. The miscreants hacked him to death on the canal bund road near his house. Police believe that they may have deliberately called him on the phone.
