Accused in drug case stabs four policemen in Thiruvananthapuram, condition of two critical

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Four policemen of the Kallambalam police station in Thiruvananthapuram were stabbed by an accused while they tried to apprehend him in a drug case. Anaz, the accused, has been arrested. Anas, the accused, has been arrested. The injured policemen have been identified as Sreejith, Vinod, Chandu and Jayan. The injuries of Sreejith and Vinod are serious. They have been admitted to a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.

Anas is a fugitive in 20 cases. Squads are operating in every police station to nab such criminals. The injured policemen were members of the squad operating at the Kallambalam police station.
