NEW DELHI: President Draupadi Murmu said that democracy is getting stronger in India. While expressing greetings for the Independence day, she said that our country is setting an example for other countries. 'I pay tribute to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. As all of us celebrate the anniversary, we bow to all those men and women who made enormous sacrifices to make it possible for us to live in a free India', said the President while addressing the nation.
Foreign rulers tried to exploit India. But we reclaimed our country. The tricolour is fluttering in every nook and corner of the country. The nation has achieved self-sufficiency even during the Covid period. We made great achievements in the field of technology. The economy of the country is also improving. The country is successfully overcoming the challenges, said the President.
