THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has announced that Kerala will receive heavy rainfall for the next five days. Central Kerala will receive extremely heavy rainfall. A depression has formed in the southwest Bay of Bengal along the Sri Lankan coast. A depression will form in the Bay of Bengal as well on November 16. With this, the rain will become stronger. Fishermen in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Lakshadweep have been warned not to venture into the sea. A yellow alert has been sounded in Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Kannur districts today.
