Woman falls off running bus in Kozhikode, dies

KOZHIKODE: A 52-year-old woman was run over by a bus after she fell from the running vehicle. The dead has been identified as Usha of Narikkuni Odupara in Kozhikode. She was staying in a rented house.

The accident happened Tuesday morning at 7 am in Narikkuni. Usha fell from the private bus proceeding to Kozhikode from Thamarasseri. Though seriously injured Usha was taken to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital, her life could not be saved. Initial reports said the door of the bus was not closed. The Koduvally police have registered a case.
