Exit polls predict huge majority for BJP in Gujarat, surveys also hints their victory in Himachal Pradesh

AHMEDABAD: The exit poll results of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh assembly elections have been released. All the exit poll results are predicting that BJP will come to power in both the states. The Republic P-Marq survey predicts that BJP will get 128 to 148 seats in Gujarat. Congress will only have 30 to 42 seats. As per the survey, it is reported that the Aam Aadmi Party, which held many campaigns, will get two to 10 seats.

According to TV9 Gujarati, BJP will win 125 to 130 seats. There are a total of 182 seats in Gujarat. Congress will get 40 to 50 seats. As per the survey results, AAP that is contesting for the first time in the state will open its account and win three to five seats. According to the survey results given by NewsX, BJP will win 117 to 140 seats. Congress will win 34 to 51 seats. The AAP is predicted to win 6 to 13 seats. It is indicated that the Congress will lose about 10 per cent of votes in Gujarat.

Meanwhile, in Himachal Pradesh, four out of five surveys predicted BJP’s victory. The results of the survey show that the BJP will win the majority but the Congress will give a tough fight. As per exit polls, BJP will win 38 seats out of total 68 seats in Times Now survey. Congress will win 28 seats. It is indicated that the Aam Aadmi Party will win no seats and the others will win two seats. BJP will win 32 to 40 seats in NewsX-Jan Ki Baat survey. Congress also has an upper hand with 27 to 42 seats. The India Today survey predicts that the Congress will win 30 to 40 seats. BJP will win 24 to 34 seats. Other parties may win four to eight seats. The election results in both the states will be out on December 8.
