MUMBAI: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar shared a heartfelt message on social media celebrating his son, Arjun Tendulkar, who made his debut for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in their final match of the IPL 2026 season. Reflecting on the demands of the sport, Tendulkar emphasized that cricket tests a player's character and patience as much as their skill—both of which he noted Arjun handled with grace.

With LSG already eliminated from playoff contention, management handed Arjun his debut cap for the dead-rubber clash against Punjab Kings. While Lucknow ultimately fell short in the fixture, the all-rounder made a commendable impact with both bat and ball, capping off his debut by claiming his maiden wicket for the franchise.
