Iran launches heavy attacks in Kuwait and UAE; US military bases targeted

TEHRAN: Iran has launched attacks targeting US military facilities across the Gulf region. According to Iranian authorities, military bases in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan are among the targets.

Iran said it has sent drones to target radar systems at the Al Dhafra and Al Mihad military bases in the UAE, as well as US military facilities in the country. The Iranian military also said Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain is among the targets.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also said it has carried out attacks on US military bases in Erbil, Iraq. The latest strikes are reportedly part of Iran’s efforts to step up attacks against the US military presence in the region.
