Putin, Xi Jinping to attend BRICS Summit in New Delhi

NEW DELHI: Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the BRICS Summit to be held in New Delhi in September. It has been officially announced that both leaders have accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's invitation to participate in the summit.

The summit will be held on September 12 and 13. Xi's visit will be his first to India since the informal India-China summit held in Chennai in October 2019.
