HYDERABAD: Two students were injured in an accident that happened during the promotion event of Yash's latest film 'Toxic'. The accident happened at the function held at the Malla Reddy University. The students fell after they climbed the massive sound box setup collapsed.

The injured students were admitted to a nearby hospital. The incident happened when Yash was speaking at the event. He paused to check whether the students were safe. A large number of people had gathered near the venue to see Yash. The police had a tough time to control the students. The video of the accident had gone viral on social media.
Meantime, the film is set to release globally on the Thiruvonam day on August 26. Toxic, in which Yash plays a dual role, is directed by Geethu Mohandas. It is a pan-Indian film in which Yash plays the lead role after KGF: Chapter 2, and it is expected to be a huge success. Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi are the heroines of the film. Venkat K Narayana and Yash are producing it under the banner of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The film is written by Yash and Geethu Mohandas. Panorama Studios and Century Films are distributing it in Kerala.
