THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A complaint has been filed against former DGP and BJP councilor R Sreelekha for her derogatory remarks against Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. She made the remarks while speaking at the party’s programme held in Punalur. Youth congress state vice president Vishnu Sunil Pandalam filed the complaint with the DGP. His complaint requested to register a case against her derogatory remarks.
Sreelekha said what Rahul is showing in Delhi is the restlessness when drugs enter the body and what is being witnessed is the frenzy of that moment. She also mocked Rahul and the ministers, alleging that they were throwing plastic bottles around and polluting Delhi.
‘Public representatives, including MLAs and MPs, are staging protests alongside cockroaches in Delhi. The SIR (Special Intensive Revision) is not something that was introduced recently. The cockroaches have launched a misguided protest. The revision of electoral rolls has been in place ever since India became a democratic country. It is also a process that is carried out every ten years. It is true that this was an intensive revision. The reason for it is that there are numerous infiltrators.
We should actually be thanking Gyanesh Kumar. All these procedures were successfully completed by election officials from Kerala during the LDF’s tenure as well. Don’t they feel ashamed now to stage protests alongside the cockroaches? The Congress has joined them too. What exactly is he doing there? Rahul Gandhi is displaying the restlessness of someone who has consumed drugs in excessive quantities,’ Sreelekha said.
