Elderly arrested for abusing boy in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: An elderly man has been arrested for sexually abusing a ten-year-old boy in Koyilandy. The accused has been identified as Rasik Lal (65) of Koyilandy Muchukunnu Puthiyottil.

The incident happened on Saturday. The complaint filed said Rasik Lal took him in his car and abused him. The Koyilandy police immediately started an investigation and took him into custody last night. His arrest was later registered. The accused remanded for 13 days has been shifted to Kozhikode district jail.
