Free sari and travel as KSRTC’s Priyadarshini service hits 100 days

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of completing 100 days of KSRTC’s Priyadarshini scheme, distribution of sarees will be organized at all depots across the state tomorrow. Minister C P John will inaugurate the saree distribution at an official function to be held at the Thampanoor KSRTC Terminal in Thiruvananthapuram at 10 am.

As part of the scheme, sarees will be distributed to women employees and women working in service sectors associated with passengers. Minister C P John said the ‘Priyadarshini’ scheme is progressing very successfully. The scheme is presently being successfully implemented only on ordinary buses. He added that it has been decided to continue the scheme in the same manner in the coming days as well.
