Janam TV MD GK Pillai passes away

PALAKKAD: Janam TV MD and CEO GK Pillai (71) has passed away. He is the former Chairman and former MD of Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited Ranchi and HMT Machine Tools Limited Bangalore, two of the largest engineering public sector companies in India.

He died of a heart attack while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Coimbatore. He was the RSS Palakkad Nagar Sanghchalak and Sevabharathi Palakkad District President.
