THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Lottery Director KS Anju announced that the Monsoon Bumper lottery draw with a prize money of Rs 10 crore will be held at 2 pm on Saturday.
So far, 40 lakh tickets have been sold. Palakkad has the most at 11.14 lakh. Thrissur is second at 4.54 lakh. Thiruvananthapuram has 3.58 lakh. Malappuram has the least at 1.29 lakh. Last year, Monsoon Bumper sales saw 33 lakh tickets getting sold.
The second prize is 10 lakh, the third prize is 5 lakh, and the fourth prize is three lakh each. There are also several prizes of Rs 5000, 1000, 500 and Rs 250 each.
The Lottery Department advised people not to buy tickets through fake websites.
It is a crime to ask for money for registration fees, processing fees, GST, tax, and security deposits. Do not share information such as bank account numbers, debit/credit card details, OTP, UPI PIN, or Aadhaar number with strangers.
