Overhaul of top police posts: S Sreejith to be Crime Branch chief, Sudhesh Kumar appointed as Director of Vigilance

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In an overhaul of positions of IPS officers in state police on New Year's eve, S Sreejith has been promoted to the rank of ADGP and appointed as the head of the crime branch. Sudhesh Kumar has been appointed as the Director of Vigilance. B Sandhya was appointed as the Director General of Fire and Rescue Services. Vijayasakha has been appointed as the ADGP in charge of law and order.

Yogesh Gupta will be appointed as Bevco MD. Sheikh Darwesh Saheb will be the Director of the Kerala Police Academy. ADGP Anil Kant will be the Road Safety Commissioner, Sparjan Kumar will be the Crime Branch IG and Nagaraju will be the new Kochi City Police Commissioner. A Akbar will be given the post of Thrissur Range DIG and KB Ravi will be the Kollam SP. Rajeev PB will be the Pathanamthitta SP and Sujith Das will be the Palakkad SP. Yatheesh Chandra has been removed from the post of Kannur SP and given the charge of KP4. R Elango will be the Kannur Commissioner. Navneet Kumar Sharma will become the Kannur Rural SP.
