Clash between UDF and BJP councillors in Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The United Democratic Front (UDF) has demanded action against Councillor Chempazhanthy Udayan for creating a tense atmosphere and tearing up the attendance register during a Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Council meeting.
Chempazhanthy Udayan forcefully snatched and tore the register containing the signatures of the members from the current council term.
UDF Parliamentary Party Leader Adv. K.S. Sabarinathan alleged that this incident proves the ruling party is moving forward with measures to protect Sugathan with the approval of the Mayor.
