THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The lottery department has increased the price money of Onam bumper. The price money has been increased to Rs 30 crore from Rs 25 crore. The ticket price remains unchanged. The ticket costs Rs 500. Chief Minister V D Satheesan will release the Onam bumper on July 17, said Anju K S, the director of the lottery department.
A decision has been taken to give 90 lakh tickets to agents, but this may be increased depending on the demand. Tickets are being released in the series TA, TB, TC, TD, TE, TG, TH, TJ, TK, TL. The draw will be held on September 26 at Gorkhi Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram.
First Prize: Rs 30 crore
Second Prize: Rs 1 crore each for 20 people (2 each in each series)
Third Prize: Rs 25 lakh each for 20 people (2 each in each series)
Fourth Prize: Rs 5 lakh each for 10 people (1 each in each series)
Fifth Prize: Rs 2 lakh each for 10 people (1 each in each series)
Sixth Prize: Rs 5000 each for 54,000 persons
Seventh Prize: Rs 2000 each for 81,000 persons
Eighth Prize: Rs 1000 each for 1,24,200 people
Ninth Prize: Rs 500 each for 2,75,400 persons
Consolation Prize: Rs 5 lakh each for 9 persons
