Three injured in elephant attack in Attappadi

PALAKKAD: Three sustained injuries in an elephant attack in two separate incidents in Attappadi. Vellingiri, Mini Shaji and Prasad are the injured. 30-year-old Vellingiri sustained injuries in the attack that happened in Mully. The elephant attacked him at around 4 am this morning while going to the river. He sustained serious injuries on his face.

The second attack was at Goolikkadavu in Attappadi. Mini Shaji, the passenger of the auto and its driver Prasad suffered injuries in the attack that happened at around 5.30 am. The three has been admitted at the Attappadi Tribal Hospital.
