UAE tourist found dead in Kozhikode; family had accompanied her to Kerala

KOZHIKODE: A 45-year-old woman from the United Arab Emirates was found dead at a hotel on Jafar Khan Colony Road in Nadakkavu, Kozhikode, on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Zainab Ali Juma Mohammed Al Marzouqi, a native of Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE.

According to preliminary information, Zainab had arrived in Kerala with her family as tourists. The Nadakkavu police station was informed about the incident on Friday evening. Police reached the hotel and initiated inquest proceedings.

Police said further details, including whether there were any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, would become clear after the post-mortem examination. The investigation is underway.
