YouTuber Swalih Valanchery passes away while undergoing treatment for pneumonia

MALAPPURAM: Popular YouTuber Swalih Valanchery has passed away. He died at a private hospital in Perinthalmanna on Saturday evening while undergoing treatment for pneumonia-related complications.

Swalih, a person with a disability, was popular for his YouTube videos, which attracted thousands of viewers. His YouTube channel had around 263,000 subscribers. He was also active on social media and had a large circle of friends.

Swalih went to a hospital in Valanchery on his own on Saturday afternoon after experiencing physical discomfort. As his condition worsened later in the day, he was shifted to a private hospital in Perinthalmanna, where he died.

He was a native of Karekkad in Valanchery, Malappuram. His funeral prayers and burial will be held at the Karekkad C.K. Para Juma Masjid at 8 pm on Saturday.
