BJP’s Kerala master plan: State split into two clusters, Ramesh and Suresh get charge

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The BJP has made organisational changes in Kerala with the aim of increasing the NDA's seat tally in the next Lok Sabha election. As part of the changes, Kerala has been divided into two clusters, with two general secretaries assigned charge of the respective regions. BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar said M T Ramesh has been given charge of the northern cluster, while S Suresh will oversee the southern cluster.

Ramesh will be in charge of Kasaragod, Kannur, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Thrissur and Palakkad districts.
Suresh will oversee Ernakulam, Kottayam, Idukki, Alappuzha, Pathanamthitta, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram districts.

The BJP has also assigned new organisational responsibilities to other leaders. Shobha Surendran has been appointed national programme in-charge, while Anoop Antony has been given charge of the state cells and the Mission 2029 narrative.
State vice-president Shaun George has been appointed social media coordinator.
