Stress out, games in: This is Cube Country

KOCHI: Leave work stress and boredom at the door and spend some relaxed time around a table with friends or family. From snakes and ladders and cards to carrom, there are plenty of games to choose from. Coffee and snacks are also served on order.

A new world of fun has opened at ‘Cube Country’ on Justice Krishna Iyer Road in Panampilly Nagar, Ernakulam. The venture was started with the idea that every new business should have a purpose and a message along with generating income.

Cube Country was started five months ago by Wayanad native Tinso Jose Mathew, who was earlier working abroad, and Mundakkayam native Tom Thomas, an Infopark employee.

The gaming space has a wide range of options, including Ludo, Uno, puzzles, building blocks and dice games. Those looking for more challenging games can try Splendor, Dobble, Monopoly and Expedition.

Cube Country is open from 9 am to 11 pm every day. Family customers make up a large share of its visitors. The facility can accommodate up to 40 people across multiple tables at the same time. A large table is also available for teams of up to 16 people.

Rs 250 per hour

The charge for the first hour is Rs 250 per person, including snacks. The rate is Rs 200 for the next hour and Rs 160 for the following hour. First-time visitors get 33 minutes free. Fee packages are also available for regular customers.
