Holiday for schools and colleges tomorrow? Which educational institutions will remain closed?

KOZHIKODE: The district collector has declared a holiday for educational institutions within the Kozhikode Corporation limits tomorrow afternoon in connection with the Vice President's visit. The decision was taken in view of the stringent security arrangements and traffic restrictions to be imposed in the city.

The holiday will apply to anganwadis, madrasas, CBSE and ICSE schools, professional colleges and other educational institutions within the Corporation limits. However, previously scheduled public and university examinations will be held as planned, the district collector said.
